Fabulous Hmong Children

On January 22nd, in Auditorium 1335, the joint was rockin’. The Multicultural Student Nurses Organization-formed to encourage dialog and activities between students from varied backgrounds and cultures-presented numerous dance troupes. From a sword dance to African dance to Hmong dances, the music and movement elicited applause from the attendees. An International Potluck dinner followed. The Thai, Finnish, German, Hmong, Greek and Spanish fare (with the requisite brownies) elicited nearly as many comments as the entertainment. Congratulations to the students and their mentors, Mary Ellen Murray and Louise Root-Robbins from the School of Nursing.
