Art Show Participants!
The 3rd Annual Health Sciences Student Art Show will be installed on April 1st, with an Opening Reception on April 2nd from 4:00-6:00. http://ebling.library.wisc.edu/artatebling/index.cfm
The last day to contribute a piece (or up to 4 pieces, depending on size) is Fri. March 27th.
Students from the School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Medicine &Public Health,School of Veterinary Medicine, and the health science programs, like OT, kinesiology and physician assistants-are invited to contribute.
My colleague, Mary Hitchcock, and I are on the 3rd floor of the Ebling Library at 750 Highland Ave. My office is 3315. Art can be dropped of any time between then and now.
In the past students have contributed pieces from high school, pictures they took on vacation-art they made in the last couple of years. Mediums have included watercolors, pencil, pen, charcoal, acrylic, oil , photography, woodworking, and stained glass. We prefer framed and wired pieces for the 3rd floor Gallery walls, but unframed or unwired pieces may be displayed in flat cases in the Historical Reading Room. The show will run until April 30th.
What we need from you:
1) Name of piece, and medium.
2) Whether it can be sold, and for what price.
3) Your name and school and year. (John Smith, 2nd Yr. Med…)
