Effective September 1st, 2009 – Julie Schneider has assumed the position of Director of the UW-Madison Ebling Library for the Health Sciences. Previously, she served as Acting Director, Assistant Director for Scholarly Communication and Publishing, and Head of Information Resources and Collection Development.
Julie received her M.A. in Library Science in 1992 and her B.S. in Biology (emphasis on microbiology) in 1983 . She has held a diverse range of professional library positions in areas including Collection Development, Public Services, Interlibrary Loan, and Information Resources. She also served as Information Resources Manager of the Interhemispheric Resource Center in Silver City, New Mexico.
