The elements take their toll on metal, and the previous book drop became rusted and less than weather proof. After a short absence, please welcome the brand spanking new Ebling Book Drop. After their forays in your backpacks, at your desks, or at local coffee shops, you have the option of returning books to Ebling’s 2nd floor service desk (still the preferred method), or to the book drop in front of the Health Sciences Learning Center entrance, at 750 Highland Ave.
Special thanks to Joe King and Marie Koch for spearheading this project and for choosing a model that includes an internal shelf on a spring mechanism; keeping the books from dropping swiftly to the unforgiving bottom of the drop. A win win for books and borrowers!
