Ebling Library Book Sale, Mark Those Calendars!

It’s been a while since the last Ebling Library Book Sale. We are excited to announce that Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th there will be a sale of books from Ebling Library’s  collections. Items include donated duplicates, extra copies of popular textbooks, out-of-print classic anatomy books, late 19th and early 20th century clinical books, and a variety of medical dictionaries, and other nursing, pharmacy and medical reference books. Highlights include books on cardiology, physiology, women’s health, child development, multiple sclerosis, pharmaceutical sciences, pediatrics, psychology, psychiatry, ophthalmology, dermatology, anatomy, surgery, history of the health sciences, public health and anesthesiology. There are novels, poetry, study guides for the boards, cookbooks…

A number of years ago Ebling Library received a donation by cardiac physiologist, Paul Cranefield, who also collected literature, travel, city guides, poetry and books about atomic energy. Those books,  not added to our or campus’s collections will be sold as well.

Ebling Library Book Sale
When: Thursday, November 14th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Friday, November, 15th, 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Where: Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC), 750 Highland Avenue, 3rd floor Interactive Learning Center Room 3110-C & D

Prices for the majority of the books will be in the 25 cent to $5.00 range, with collectibles being individually priced. Cash or checks will be accepted. Bring your recycled shopping bag if you think of it!

All monies support the Friends of Ebling Library. The funds are used to purchase Library resources and support staff initiatives.
