Below is a listing of the variety of jobs students do at the Ebling Library. If you fill out an online application you will be considered for any openings that occur. Student Job Application

Historical Unit, including Rare Books & Special Collections

Student Assistant assists with the coordination of Historical Collections, including shelf maintenance, scanning and copying, reference assistance, and instructional and administrative support. Microsoft Office literacy, good organizational skills, an attention to detail, creative with social media, and an interest in historical resources are all preferable.

Document Delivery

Scans articles with Adobe Acrobat and updates online records.

Public Services Assistant (Circulation)

Answers questions and handles phone calls at the Circulation desk. Checks out library materials and equipment. Checks in, sorts and shelves library items.

Resource Management & Collection Services

Student employee duties include relocating and shifting books, typing call numbers, repairing damaged materials, maintaining computer databases, etc. May include some heavy lifting (around 30lbs). You MUST be able to type accurately and understand/follow difficult instructions.
