Directions
Finding the Library
Ebling Library is on the 2nd floor of the Health Sciences Learning Center, right next door to the University of Wisconsin Hospital.
From I-90 or US 151
- Take I-90 or US 151 to Hwy 12/18
- Follow Hwy 12/18, exit at Park Street (Exit 261 B)
- Proceed north on Park Street about 5 miles to University Avenue, turn left
- Proceed 5 blocks, then make slight right onto Campus Drive (not Old University)
- Take the Highland Avenue exit, turn right
- Building is on your left, near intersection of Walnut and Highland, before UW Hospital

Bike Information
Madison B-Cycle Bike Sharing Program
Don't want to drive or ride the bus but don't have your own bike? Try the new B-Cycle bike sharing program just started in Summer 2011. There are 20 active stations in the downtown area, 35 in all with more than 350 bikes available for use. Special rates are available for students.
Shuttle (CSC/HSLC to WID/MIR)
Commuting Options - Health Sciences Parking Information - SMPH
Starting November 28 there will be a shuttle running between the Clnical Science Center (CSC) / Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) and the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery/Morgridge Institute for Research (WID/MIR). The service runs between 8:15AM and 4:15PM from Lot 95 to the Orchard Street entrance to WID/MIR.
Parking
Metered Parking is available in the UWHC Patient/Visitor Ramp, lot 75. In addition, two 25 minute parking stalls are available at the North entrance.
Free parking is available M-F after 4:30 PM and all Day Saturday and Sunday in lots: 59, 60, 64, 76 and 82 (Waisman Center).
Disabled parking: If a vehicle has a University disabled permit there are 5 spots in the basement, lot 95. There is no time limit on the lot 95 spaces but access to the garage is restricted on weekends (you need a building ID/access card to get in).
