Students, Submit Your Art Work

Dear Health Sciences Students-

We need your 2 or 3D artwork.

The Ebling Library will host the 8th annual Health Sciences Student Art exhibit from April 10th to May 9th, 2014. The Opening Reception will be from 4:00-6:00 on Thursday, April 10th.

Last year we had over 80 pieces from the Schools of Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, SMPH, Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, Physician’s Assistants, etc. Some of the artists SOLD their work! We have a lovely opening reception that your friends and family can attend.
The pieces will be on the Third floor gallery walls as well as in the Historical Reading Room…as these photos indicate: http://tiny.cc/pb165w

So, paint something, photograph something, collage something, carve something, sculpt something. Unearth works of art from high school or undergraduate school.

Pieces should be delivered to me by April 1st, 2014 in Room 3315 in Ebling Library.

What we need from you:

1) Name of piece, and medium.
2) Whether it can be sold, and for what price.
3) Your name, school and year. (John Smith, 2nd Yr. Vet Med…)
4) Piece should be WIRED (from one side of frame to other). If this is problematic, we can put it flat in one of our display cases. If it is three dimensional, we can figure something out.
