Goal(s) of the Project

AHEC has enjoyed a close working relationship with the UW Health Sciences Libraries and has, from time to time, supported the time of UW HSL staff to work on outreach projects in partnership with AHEC. This proposal is to formalize this relationship with an ongoing commitment (in so far as the limitations of grant funding will allow) for support of the equivalent of a half-time Outreach Technical Support Position Information Processing Consultant (IPC) Position at HSL...

[This IPC will]...take the NAHEC Healthy Wisconsin People consumer health information page statewide (including non-English health information pages), by creating an easily managed and updateable database-driven website for handling consumer health information in Wisconsin, incorporating the process already instituted by the AHEC library team for creating the Monday E-mail.
