Scope
Culture: A collective expression for all
behavior patterns acquired and socially transmitted
through symbols. Culture includes customs,
traditions, and language.

Delivery: Individualized, patient-centered care
that respects the multiple cultures of their
patients

Diversity: Coexistence of numerous distinct
ethnic, racial, religious, or cultural groups within
one social unit, organization, or population.
