How Do I Find & Subscribe to RSS Feeds?
More Ways to Find Feeds
If you are using Google Reader, don't overlook the Discover and Search for Feeds area where you wil find suggestions for other things you may be interested in.
Look for a graphic like this image
on the web page (it may also appear in the address bar and sometimes other graphics are used; here's a few more you may come across).
Click on the image to subscribe. What happens next depends on what browser you are using:
Firefox Safari, Opera, Chrome and other modern browsers: Choose your reader from the list, click ok and you aresubscribed to the feed.
Internet Explorer: We do not recommend using Internet Explorer as you will need to copy and paste the link to the feed to manually add it to your feed reader.
Journal Table of Contents Feeds
Journal vendors and publishers often provide feeds for their titles, but they aren't always easy to find.
Health Sciences Journals
We've collected feeds for over 2400 health sciences journals, which you can browse alphabetically or by topic.

Health Sciences Journal Bundles
While you can always subscribe to feeds one by one, you have the option to subscribe to topic groups of several feeds at once. You'll find these feed bundles in our listing of E-Journal Feeds by Topic.
Beyond the Health Sciences
A great source for e-journal feeds in other disciplines is ticTOC's Journal Table of Contents Service.
Health News Feeds
Health News
To get you started we've collected selection of news feeds on health-related topics.
Here are some other sources for finding health news feeds that we recommend:
• Medworm
• RSS for Medics
• Google News and Google Blogs
Advanced RSS
Once you've started using feeds you may find you want them to do a little more work for you. Feed readers like Google Reader have many features built in, but if you need something beyond that try these:
• FeedRinse: combine and filter feeds, then export them for yourself or others to use
• Yahoo Pipes: do just about anything imaginable with feeds, all in a GUI environment
• Google FeedBurner: publish feeds you've created for easy use by others, plus provides built-in usage statistics
• FriendFeed: combine friends' feeds from common services like Twitter, YouTube and Flickr all in one place
• Feed My Inbox: subscribe to any feed and have it forwarded to you as an email
• FreeMyFeed: free your feed from authentication or invalid SSL certificates to get them into a reader
