ISI Web of Knowledge is an integrated Web-based platform that provides high-quality content and the tools to access, analyze, and manage research information.

Are there other products like it?

Not exactly. While there are other products that offer features similar to some parts of WOK, there is nothing that offers all of the tools and content you will find in WOK.

Is there anything unique or advantageous about it over similar products?

Notable features include the ISI CrossSearch (simulataneous multi-database search), analytical tools such as Journal Citation Reports (journal impact factors), ISI HighlyCited.com (number of times an article/author has been cited), personal journal lists and Citation/Table of Contents alerts.
