AAMC’s MedEdPortal is looking for peer reviewers

Drawn from all across North America and representing a variety of learning institutions and teaching hospitals, MedEdPORTAL nominated reviewers serve as an important quality gatekeeper for the online service and ensure that submitted resources are accurate, clear, complete, and relevant to medical and dental education. Reviewers are selected for each resource based on their chosen areas of expertise and receive no more than three assignments each calendar year.

MedEdPORTAL is actively seeking reviewers who were trained in North America and specialize in the following disciplines: Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Neurology, General Surgery, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Biochemistry/Genetics/Molecular Biology, Ophthalmology, Microbiology and Immunology. The MedEdPORTAL team asks that nominations be restricted to individuals that have an interest and expertise in medical education. Nominated individuals will then receive an email from MedEdPORTAL to complete an online application and submit their curriculum vitae. MedEdPORTAL strongly encourages authors to take part as peer reviewers in advancing educational scholarship.
