Improvements and upgrades to AAMC’s MedEdPortal

The AAMC has launched a new and improved version of MedEdPORTAL, the association’s free, peer-reviewed publication service for health educational resources.  In addition to hosting a more user-friendly design, the site will allow for expansion into pre-health topics and continuing education resources.  The upgraded version will further link medical education curricula, teaching tools, and assessment resources across the entire physician-education continuum, and accommodate partnerships with allied health professions to drive interprofessionalism and innovation in health education. We encourage you to take a few moments to browse the new site and search the system for medical or oral health education related content that is of interest to you.

MedEdPORTAL is a free online peer-reviewed publication service provided by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and is designed to promote educational collaboration by facilitating the open exchange of peer-reviewed teaching resources such as tutorials, virtual patients, simulation cases, lab guides, videos, podcasts and assessment tools. While MedEdPORTAL’s primary audience includes health educators and learners, access to the website and content are available to the general public, around the globe, for free. Users can access validated teaching materials and assessment tools for the basic and clinical sciences in both medicine and oral health.
