Welcome

In this Guide you will find links to compilations of books, institutional statements, blog posts, online articles, community resources, and other university produced examples for those who want to be deeply informed about matters of white supremacy, systemic racism, and anti-racism. Many of the resources specifically aid health sciences educators, administrators, clinicians, researchers, and practitioners in creating and sustaining a welcoming environment for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BI-POC), LGBTQ+, or people with disabilities. As we think about recruiting students, the classroom environment, residency and lab dynamics, health care delivery, community liaisons, or patients, these tool kits and resources will inform, provoke, and help you navigate a landscape of non-discriminatory, non-marginalizing education, research, retention, and practice. Let us know if you have additional resources.
