Dear Reader,
As I write this on the eve of Thanksgiving, this seems a fitting time to reflect on and give thanks for this journal and all who make it a reality. I am grateful for the artists who offer up a piece of themselves either through their art or their sage words in our artist interviews, and I am grateful Corpus Callosum provides space for these voices. I am grateful for the review team who has the hard task of reviewing all the works for publication, for the community that embraces this journal with open arms, and finally for readers like you who keep propelling us forward. Wherever you land in these groups, thank you.
Thank you, too, for opening this Fall 2024 Issue. You’ll find it brimming with rich visual, written, and musical works of art from new and returning artists, as well as a feature we’re unveiling with this issue: artist statements for their art. This was optional, so not all artists have given one, but for those who have, you’ll find them posted below their work.
