Library Express
Library Express is the University of Wisconsin-Madison interlibrary loan and document delivery service.
Am I Eligible?
- Library Express is available to all UW-Madison faculty, staff, students, other appointments, and affiliates with a valid Wiscard (UW-Madison Campus ID Card).
- If you are not affiliated with UW-Madison, please our Services for Non-Affiliates.
What Can I Request?
- Online document delivery of journal articles in 1-3 business days (typical).
- Interlibrary loans of books and other materials delivered in 1-3 weeks (typical).
How Do I Place a Request?
- Log In to Library Express to place a request, or
- Request items directly through PubMed (articles) or WorldCat (books & other loans)

- Have an active UW-Madison library or Health Patron card account.
- Located in the AFCH, CSC, HSLC, School of Pharmacy, UWHC, VA, Waisman Center, WARF & WIMR.
- Have a secure mailbox (and a way of getting material into that box during business hours), or an office to which we can deliver.

What Can I Request?
- Any book in Ebling Library's collection or requested for pickup at Ebling Library through the Book Retrieval service.
Book Return Service
- Email eblingcirc OR fill out the form above to request the item be picked up.
- The item must be readily available when library staff arrive.
Pull & Hold Journal Service
Request a journal be pulled from the shelf and held at Ebling Library.
Get Articles Online
- Want an article scanned and delivered to you for free? Use Library Express, the campus electronic desktop delivery service
- Use Find It to locate online articles.
Am I Eligible?
- This service is available to everyone.
What Can I Request?
- This service is only available for journals held at the Ebling Library.
- Journals held at other campus libraries are not available through Pull & Hold.
