Material Donations
Donations of books, artifacts, or particular journal titles may be accepted if the materials fit within the scope of Ebling’s collections.
Special consideration will be given to rare books and older material, especially ephemera like pamphlets, diaries, photographs, and lab notebooks. Some material may be better suited to the University Archives or other institutions. We cannot assess the value of the gift-in-kind material donations.
Upon acceptance, the Ebling Library reserves the right to determine actual retention of the material, sometimes putting duplicate material in a campus book sale. Prospective donors are encouraged to provide a list of the gift material so decisions can be made beforehand regarding duplicates and condition.
