Introduction to Embase

Embase is biomedical and pharmacological literature database newly available through Ebling Library. Participants will receive an overview of the database and how coverage differs from Pubmed. In addition, the participants will learn how to:  

  1. Use Quick Search to build a basic search query. 
  1. Translate PubMed searches quickly using the ‘Query Translator’ tool. 
  1. Filter and refine your search in Advanced Search. 
  1. Search Emtree for additional concepts and synonyms.
