EndNote Basic (aka EndNote Online), is the free, online version of EndNote. EndNote Basic, like other citation managers, can help you to collect, organize, format, and share citations for your research. In this workshop, you will learn how to sign up for a free EndNote Basic account, authenticate your account with UW Madison to get access to additional styles, import citations from a variety of databases, create and share groups, and use the Cite While You Write plugin for Microsoft Word.
If you require any accessibility accommodations to attend or participate in this event, please let us know by emailing paije.wilson@wisc.edu with the subject “An Introduction to EndNote Basic Accommodations.” Requests for sign-language interpreters, real-time captioning, Braille or electronic documents should be made at least two weeks before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date but cannot guarantee they will be met.
