On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, join countless scientists, clinicians, health sciences students, researchers, postdocs, and outreach specialists while they demonstrate the work they do at UW-Madison. The 22nd Annual UW Science Expeditions is open to the public from 12:00-4:00 in the Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC).
In past years over 700 children and their families visited “Exploration Stations” highlighting UW’s health science and clinical research. Ebling Library will have a Station, where you can learn how to optimally find health care resources, and your kids can reconstruct a “Velcro” skeleton.
There will also be Exploration Stations at the School of Pharmacy across the street from the HSLC, and tours of the Carbone Cancer Center, starting from the HSLC. I’m rather excited about the “Dance as Medicine” event being held at the HSLC in Room 1325! Please join us this year, it promises to be, as always, full of “I never knew that” moments.
