Whether you checked out a book or received an Inter-Library loaned book, the UW library system retained a list of the titles you’ve borrowed since 2015.
Beginning in January of 2025 they will only retain six months of records. Here’s a more comprehensive explanation.
People who want to retain this information beyond six months will need to opt-in at by going here.
An example of opting in might include, “I remember borrowing a book on laboratory methods, back in 2019, but I can’t remember the author…” opting in would still allow you to see the older record of borrowed items. Need more information, check here.
