Image Processing Data Carpentry

This hands-on Data Carpentry workshop introduces foundational image processing skills using Python, designed for researchers who want to work more effectively with image-based data. Participants will learn best practices for reproducible research while gaining practical experience manipulating, analyzing, and extracting information from images. The workshop emphasizes applied learning, collaboration, and connecting new computational techniques directly to participants’ own research workflows. Participants are expected to have prior experience with Python and some familiarity with the Unix shell. Registration closes May 11th.
