EndNote Desktop is a subscription-based citation manager that allows you to save, organize, and format citations for your research. This workshop will introduce some key EndNote Desktop functions such as: creating a new library; importing citations; organizing, managing, and sharing citations; using the Microsoft Word plug-in; and using the Cite While You Write plugin for Google Docs.

This workshop will use the new EndNote 2025 release, but will also be applicable to EndNote 21 users. EndNote can be purchased with an educator or student discount via the EndNote website.

If you require any accessibility accommodations to attend or participate in this event, please let us know by emailing paije.wilson@wisc.edu with the subject “Introduction to EndNote 21 (Windows) Accommodations.” Requests for sign-language interpreters, real-time captioning, Braille or electronic documents should be made at least two weeks before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date but cannot guarantee they will be met.
