Art Reception A Hit

On September 27th, Vesna Jovanovic came in from Chicago and spoke to students, faculty and the public about the philosophy and process behind her Pareidolia “ink spill” series. Observers are fascinated by the clinical/anatomical sensibilities (she has a background in chemistry) in her works, and how she incorporates intricate pen and ink images into the formations made by the spills. Her works hang in the Ebling 3rd floor galleries until December 12th. Vesna has put a journal at the end of the installation, eliciting comments on one of her unfinished pieces. Come take a part in this exhibit!
