The Greatest Art Show on Earth (well, at least at Ebling).

The Ebling Library will host the 6th annual Health Sciences Student Art exhibit from April 12th to May 4th, 2012. The Opening Reception will be from 4:00-6:00 on Thursday, April 12th.

Last year we had over 80 pieces from the Schools of Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, SMPH, Occupational Therapy, Physician’s Assistants, etc.
Some of the artists SOLD their work! Last year’s participants will recall the artisan cheese, chocolate and other delightful snacks that we had at the Opening.
The pieces will be on the Third floor gallery walls as well as in the Historical Reading Room…as these photos indicate

So, paint something, photograph something, collage something, carve something, sculpt something. Unearth works of art from high school or undergraduate school.

What we need from you by March 30th, 2011 in Room 3315 in Ebling Library. [the week before Spring Break!]

1) Name of piece, and medium.
2) Whether it can be sold, and for what price. (We can offer advice on pricing)
3) Your name, school and year. (John Smith, 2nd Yr. Vet Med…)
4) Piece should be framed and WIRED (from one side of frame to other). If this is problematic, we can put it flat in one of our display cases. *
If it is three dimensional, we can figure something out.
