Update: Not surprisingly, the CDC’s Director, Dr. Robert Redfield was called away on Centers for Disease Control (CDC) business, and his scheduled talk at UW’s Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) is being replaced with a panel of experts on the coronavirus and public health concerns.
In Dr. Redfield’s absence, we will feature a panel discussion of campus experts discussing the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). The event is entitled “Hot Topics in Public Health: Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) in Real Time.”
When: Wednesday, January 29th, 10:00-11:00 am.
Where: Meeting Room 1306 at the Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Ave., Madison
All are welcome.
A top-notch panel of nine scientists, physicians, epidemiologists, and experts in infection control, global health, clinical testing, vaccine development and health system responses will reflect on the emerging coronavirus outbreak.
