Our ISchool graduate library assistants have varied backgrounds and experiences, bringing those sensibilities to their work at Ebling. Robin Gee had a background in graphic design and is planning on working in academic librarianship when graduating in May. In the meantime, I found Robin at Madison Public Library’s recent Print and Resist Zine Festival, sharing their prints of a recent Corpus Callosum submission, as well as other prints and writings. Robin also produced the poster and program for the Parts Unknown exhibition which runs in Ebling’s Historical Reading Room through the end of April. What a lucky library it will be, to include such an artistic, creative librarian in their enterprise. We have certainly profited by Robin’s creative ethos.
